VIDEOMINUTO 2010

The radio station Controradio, the cultural association GRAV, the Luigi Pecci Center of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Region Tuscany, City of Prato, township of Prato, and Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, announce the VIDEOMINUTO 2010 selection of video works with a maximum duration of one minute . The selection is open to all works, original, synthetical, quick, totally free in form and language and without any form of censorship.
The news for 2010 is the introduction of a competition on a subject that will go with our traditional competition "1.000 EUR for 1 Minute". The subject for the edition 2010 is "Diary from the age of permanent present" and it has ispired the author Tommaso Pincio to write a short novel as a kind of introduction to this special competition of Videominuto 2010.

ATTENTION:
The DEADLINE for video entry has been prolonged to Friday 23rd of July 2010!

YouTube, and the Guggenheim Museum have partnered to search for creative online videos. The competition is called "YouTube Play. 20 videos will be presented at the Guggenheim in New York on October 21. Entrants must submit a video up to 10 minutes and a written statement to YouTube.com/play.

The website of City One Minutes has won the golden award for the best information website during the European Design Awards. The European Design Awards, initiated by 14 European Design Magazines, were handed out at the European Design Festival at De Doelen in Rotterdam on 30 May.

city one minutes melkweg
As part of Giro d'Italia 2010 the Melkweg in Amsterdam will exhibit four Italian City One Minutes portraits: Napoli, Rome, Trieste and Venice.
